Dr. Steven Dalati brings over 16 years of medical experience to the team. Born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, the middle child of Lebanese immigrants, Dr. Dalati earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Spring Hill College in 2004. He graduated from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, followed by postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida – Jacksonville.

Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Dalati has been recognized for his excellence in education and clinical practice. He received the Society of Teaching Scholars Outstanding Resident Teacher Award and the University of Florida Excellence in Student Education Award during his residency. In 2014, he was honored with the prestigious ACOG/CREOG National Faculty Award for his contributions to medical education.

Dr. Dalati practiced at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center as a faculty member at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is also a co-editor of Ob/Gyn Secrets, 4th Edition, a widely regarded resource in the field.

Now practicing full-scope obstetrics and gynecology in The Woodlands, Texas, Dr. Dalati has a special focus on high-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive surgeries. His wife, Dr. Amanda Mularz, specializes in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and they moved to The Woodlands together in 2015. In his free time, Dr. Dalati enjoys spending time with his two sons, Lucian and Dorian.

I have loved being with Women’s Healthcare Affiliates. I am on my 4th pregnancy with them. I have used & been seen by many of their Dr’s, they are all good & I would trust any of them to take care of me & deliver my babies. But I keep coming back for Nurse Tabitha! She is the most caring & attentive nurse. Always returns my calls quickly and never makes me feel silly when I have a million questions or concerns. She was there for me last year when we lost our baby girl at 27 weeks and has held my hand through this entire pregnancy after loss. We appreciate Nurse Tabitha & the staff at WHA very much!

I truly enjoyed every appointment- from my first appointment at 8 weeks pregnant all the way to the birth of my baby.
