Dr. Giannotti, the eldest son of Italian immigrants, has been serving The Woodlands community, where he grew up, since 1997. A graduate of The University of Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, he began his medical studies at UT Health McGovern Medical School in Houston, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his OB/GYN residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, serving as Chief Resident in 1997.

Dr. Giannotti has been in practice with Women’s Healthcare Affiliates since 1998. After practicing gynecology and delivering babies in The Woodlands since 1997, he has shifted his practice to solely providing comprehensive gynecologic care to the women he continues to serve in the area. In addition to routine gynecologic care, he is focused on providing and coordinating essential primary care for women of all ages. From adolescents and teens through the transition into and past menopause, Dr. Giannotti believes that caring for his patients extends beyond a routine annual exam. He recognizes that both traditional as well as holistic approaches are important to women when addressing their healthcare needs.

In addition to addressing gynecologic and primary care needs for women, Dr. Giannotti also treats routine as well as complex gynecological conditions which might require surgical treatment. He is trained to perform both routine as well as more advanced gynecologic surgical procedures, including robotic surgery.

Certified in using the Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, Dr. Giannotti excels in various minimally invasive gynecologic techniques, allowing patients to recover faster than with traditional approaches. He also leverages the latest DaVinci “Firefly” technology for enhanced treatment of endometriosis along with other conditions.

Dr. Giannotti is married to his college sweetheart Barbara, and has two children, Annalisa and Gianluigi. He loves spending time with his American and Italian families. He also enjoys cooking and baking bread. As you may already know, he is an avid fan of Star Wars, and regularly entertains “board game nights” with family and friends.

My doctor was Dr. Gianotti. I have nothing but the utmost respect for Dr. Gianotti. I have had hormonal issues since I was 12 but no other doctor ever took a moment to listen to me about it. Come to find out I had a diagnosis with my hormonal issues that was more than what “birth-control” could fix. I knew something was wrong for years and yet no other doctor was willing to draw blood from me. Dr. Gianotti listened to every single thing that I had to say and has provided me reassurance that I’ve needed over the past decade….something was wrong and he listened and that’s all I need from a doctor. I appreciate everyone… staff included, I couldn’t recommend this doctor more for someone who really needed answers on there feminine issues. I want to give the most sincere, thank you for the first time I have answers and it’s thanks to this office and this doctor. I’m literally in tears at the fact I have a diagnosis.

Dr.Giannotti is an amazing doctor. I’ve recently had some medical concerns that he explained in detail to me and made me feel extremely comfortable. His nurse, Misty, is absolutely awesome and friendly and welcomes my many phone calls and questions. Also, his surgery coordinator, Whitney, is extremely personable and makes me feel like I’m talking to a friend. My interactions with the front desk are always pleasant and account and medical concerns are always addressed and taken care of. I recommend this office to everyone I know.
