Dr. Heidi Lyn grew up in Potomac, Maryland, and began her career in healthcare after graduating cum laude from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. As a proud member of the Sigma Theta Tau National Nursing Honor Society, she practiced pediatric nursing for six years and earned her Certification in Emergency Nursing.<\/p>\n
Driven by her passion for medicine, Dr. Lyn earned her MD from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, in 1994, and completed her OB\/GYN residency at The University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio in 1998.<\/p>\n
Dr. Lyn has a wealth of experience in both private practice and academic medicine. She is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology. After five years in private practice in Phoenix, Arizona, she pursued a career in academic medicine, holding faculty positions at Tulane University Medical School and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso. During her tenure, she served as President of the Faculty Senate and Clerkship Director for OB\/GYN.<\/p>\n

Dr. Lyn is committed to delivering personalized care. Currently practicing both obstetrics and gynecology, she has an interest in low and high risk pregnancies, adolescent gynecology, and menopause. She is trained in the use of the da Vinci robot for gynecologic surgeries.<\/span><\/p>\n Dr. Lyn and her husband, Kevin Stern, moved to the Woodlands in 2020. Together they have five adult children, and are grandparents.
