Dr. Bryan Behne, originally from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, brings a unique background to the field of obstetrics and gynecology. Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Behne earned his degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, graduating with honors in 1992. He then spent five years working for Texas Instruments, where he contributed to advanced radar-seeking missile systems and communication technology. In 1996, he pivoted to a career in medicine, earning his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2001, and completing his residency in 2005.<\/p>\n
Since joining Women’s Healthcare Affiliates that same year, Dr. Behne has provided top-tier care in obstetrics and gynecology. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and an active member of the Texas Medical Association.<\/p>\n
Dr. Behne\u2019s clinical focus includes minimally invasive surgery, gynecological urology, pelvic floor reconstruction, and treating pelvic organ prolapse. He is also highly skilled in high-risk obstetrics, with a special interest in genetics and prenatal diagnosis. He is affiliated with Memorial Hermann, The Woodlands Hospital, where he continues to provide expert care.<\/p>\n

I had the best experience imaginable throughout my pregnancy and at delivery. Nurse Tabitha was attentive and easy to reach when I had concerns, Decima in billing was super helpful and communicative. Dr Behne always kept a calm demeanor, and came personally to make sure I got checked in okay when they had to direct admit me from my 40 week appt. Everyone in general was pleasant to deal with, and got me in and out of each appt without too long of a wait.
