Dr. Giannotti, the eldest son of Italian immigrants, has been serving The Woodlands community, where he grew up, since 1997. A graduate of The University of Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, he began his medical studies at UT Health McGovern Medical School in Houston, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his OB\/GYN residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, serving as Chief Resident in 1997.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Dr. Giannotti has been in practice with Women\u2019s Healthcare Affiliates since 1998. After practicing gynecology and delivering babies in The Woodlands since 1997, he has shifted his practice to solely providing comprehensive gynecologic care to the women he continues to serve in the area. In addition to routine gynecologic care, he is focused on providing and coordinating essential primary care for women of all ages. From adolescents and teens through the transition into and past menopause, Dr. Giannotti believes that caring for his patients extends beyond a routine annual exam. He recognizes that both traditional as well as holistic approaches are important to women when addressing their healthcare needs.<\/span><\/p>\n In addition to addressing gynecologic and primary care needs for women, Dr. Giannotti also treats routine as well as complex gynecological conditions which might require surgical treatment. He is trained to perform both routine as well as more advanced gynecologic surgical procedures, including robotic surgery.<\/span><\/p>\n Certified in using the Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, Dr. Giannotti excels in various minimally invasive gynecologic techniques, allowing patients to recover faster than with traditional approaches. He also leverages the latest DaVinci \u201cFirefly\u201d technology for enhanced treatment of endometriosis along with other conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n Dr. Giannotti is married to his college sweetheart Barbara, and has two children, Annalisa and Gianluigi. He loves spending time with his American and Italian families. He also enjoys cooking and baking bread.
